Bubba had problems latching on when he was a newborn and my nipple was extremely abraded. Every time he latched on it nearly killed me. I would literally clutch the arms of the chair that I was sitting in with a death grip. Finally I got smart and pumped that side until it healed but good lord nobody ever told me it woudl be that painful!

I am very large busted, and my kids wouldn't latch on at all. I did, however, pump for 3 months so they had my milk. By the time I did it with my third, I was a pro. I didn't have an expensive pump, I think I paid less than $50 at wal-mart, and it lasted through all three kids. It was electric, so it worked well.
Anyway, happy TT!

Thanks for sharing. My daughters are 18 and 14 and I bottle fed them - I wish now that I would have tried breastfeeding.
