Fantasy Football Week 9

Yeah, I’m a bit behind on keeping all of you up with the status of our Plurk Junkies League. Sadly, you would’ve thought with me trying to post every day in October that these updates would be no-brainers. Well, you’d be correct with the “no brain” part…

The rest of it I will blame on others: work deems it necessary to keep me on my toes all day long, and two to three nights per week, and Justin deems it necessary to be out of town. Like now, he’s in California, whoopin’ it up with like 1,500 other Apple dorks. And I say “Apple dorks” because I know he’s behind on his reader and email and everything else…ha ha!

So, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, it’s time for me to both gloat and cackle at the irony of fantasy football, and life in general. I currently have the second-highest number of points in our league, though due to my crazy record, I’m in 6th place (4 wins, 4 losses, 1 tie). But back to me having the second-highest number of points…only behind by 9 points…whoo hoo!!!! And shush to all of you saying “well that’s not how to win the league”. I don’t care.

This is a blog where I will share my adventures and mundane tasks as a work-out-of-home-mom. I now have 2 kids and my wonderful husband, so the juggling has gotten a little bit more tricky (man-on-man defense). We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats (we used to have 4) so as you can imagine, our household is pretty busy. Since I never feel like I'm being listened to, I figured I'll just start talking at the general Internet community and see what happens.

I am so disapppointed in my performance as of late – el stinkeroo! Going to have to step it up for the playoffs, well to make the playoffs at least. 🙂

Congratulations. I hope you win the whole shitaree! (As my pop would say.) So what’s the “pay- off” if you do?
