I Love Santa!

I don’t know what’s funnier:
Gavin and Cooper with Santa 2008
…the toddler screaming in abject terror or the preschooler who looked as though he went a few rounds with De la Hoya (or with the screaming toddler). And no, Gavin doesn’t have a mustache (kool-aide or otherwise), he just obsessively wipes his nose when it’s been running until he has no skin left there. Either way I haven’t stopped laughing yet, and we had this done several hours ago.

After we stopped laughing so hard and Santa set Cooper down, he offered both boys a lollipop. Cooper shook his head “no” so hard he nearly fell over. Gavin, of course, was more than happy to take the lollipop and asked several times to eat it while we walked through the mall to complete our yearly tradition of IHOP after Santa.

Also, I’m seriously considering submitting this to the Scared of Santa site from the Sun-Sentinel in Florida.

This is a blog where I will share my adventures and mundane tasks as a work-out-of-home-mom. I now have 2 kids and my wonderful husband, so the juggling has gotten a little bit more tricky (man-on-man defense). We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats (we used to have 4) so as you can imagine, our household is pretty busy. Since I never feel like I'm being listened to, I figured I'll just start talking at the general Internet community and see what happens.

Oh poor Cooper. I mean it is funny to see such abject terror on the kids faces, but I wonder if we are really helping the cause of Santa here. 🙂

Santa is afraid of our family whenever we get in line – you never know which of my kids will pop Santa in the shin, ribs, head, etc.

I’d submit it, because the picture is priceless. 🙂

Aw, poor little guy! Our pic w/Santa this year includes Will standing off to the side, holding his brother’s hand for dear life. He was all gung-ho to see the old man, but once we got there – death monkey grip on Mom!!!

btw – I gave you a little bloggie love in my post today!

Poor little fellow! Muffin went through a phase where she couldn’t abide Santa or the Easter Bunny! She’s totally fine with them now. I think it has something to do with the fact that they will both bring her presents. Presents rule!

Merry Christmas!!

At least he’s there! So many kids won’t get within throwing distance of the Guy in Red. Ask me how I know. We have 0 pictures of the kids with Santa. None. *sigh*

Merry Christmas to you guys!

I love that site! I had a whole post planned about my favourites and well, yeah, it didn’t happen. But yours would have totally been on my list!

Merry Christmas!

My brother has a red circle around his entire mouth every winter, growing up. It went away.

Merry Christmas!

Oh yeah, did I mention that Muffin totally has the lower lip version of your son’s upper lip chapping going on? Because she looks like she has a red beard – and at only 5 years old I’m concerned for her sake. Hope you have a Happy New Year!
