I Promise I Will Write About BlogHer!!!

Seriously I will.

I wanted to on Sunday when I was sitting in the Sheraton’s little internet cafe waiting for my brother to pick me up, but I was too tired and too hungover. And the stupid Sheraton wouldn’t give me more than an hour for late check-out. Punks.

I wanted to Sunday night while at my fancy little studio hotel room near Midway, but was so tired and too full of Tapas and Sangria that I nearly fell asleep sitting upright.

I wanted to yesterday, but I had to get up at 4:30am to catch my 6:50am flight back to DC, and then drove straight to work from the airport. Then after working all day, I drove home, got the kids, fed them cold cereal for dinner, gave them some of the stuff I brought back to placate them, threw them into bed, watered my wilting plants, then parked my butt in front of “The Closer” and “Raising the Bar”. The thought of pulling out my laptop was almost terrifying since I knew the moment I started, it would be HOURS before I’d shut the darn thing down and go to bed. Plus, what kind of post would’ve come out of my sleep-deprived brain?

I’m postponing my post for YOU, the reader.

Really.

I will say this though: I will do everything in my power to go again next year because besides the excitement of meeting a bunch of bloggy-friends face-to-face, I got to meet NEW bloggy-friends face-to-face.
And I stalked some A-Listers and Celebrities who were all exceedingly nice and pleasant and humored the gushing, tipsy girl begging for a picture with them (thankfully I’m small enough to not be considered much of a threat).

About the Author

Colleen

This is a blog where I will share my adventures and mundane tasks as a work-out-of-home-mom. I now have 2 kids and my wonderful husband, so the juggling has gotten a little bit more tricky (man-on-man defense). We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats (we used to have 4) so as you can imagine, our household is pretty busy. Since I never feel like I'm being listened to, I figured I'll just start talking at the general Internet community and see what happens.
