Happy 5 Months Birthday, Cooper!

Today Cooper is 5 months old!  I can’t believe it!  On one hand, he still seems so little, especially compared to Gavin.  But on the other, he seems huge and that we’ve had him forever.  So what better way to celebrate his birthday than to have him try peas!!!

What? Peas?

Oh, they’re not so bad.

Hmmm…what’s this?  Ice cream?

I ate all my peas…no reason I shouldn’t celebrate my birthday with a little ice cream, right?

This is a blog where I will share my adventures and mundane tasks as a work-out-of-home-mom. I now have 2 kids and my wonderful husband, so the juggling has gotten a little bit more tricky (man-on-man defense). We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats (we used to have 4) so as you can imagine, our household is pretty busy. Since I never feel like I'm being listened to, I figured I'll just start talking at the general Internet community and see what happens.

Adorable! I love the “it’s in my belly”. I swear Landon thinks that sometimes and gets all excited about it. We tried peas the other day and Landon seemed to find them acceptable- banana and applesauce were both completely rejected. Squash is the current fave. I’m having a really hard time getting him on any kind of eating schedule, some days he’ll eat, some days he won’t, and there’s no rhyme or reason to it. Maybe I should be more persistant. Where’s that owner’s manual again?
