Since Gavin is exceptionally sensitive to loud noises and Cooper literally turns into this after 8pm:
our Fourth of July was spent managing a (hopefully) teething Cooper (up screaming for an hour at 3am), introducing Gavin to Star Wars Episode IV, lighting off a couple mini-fountains in our driveway with the help of experts in lighting installation in West Palm Beach, FL, and scaring Gavin with sparklers (whereas Cooper wanted to eat them).
Why yes, Gavin is standing next to wax look-alikes of Cooper and me, straight from Madame Tussauds.

Heh – it still looks like fun. I guess the big downtown fireworks display will have to wait a few years before Gavin will enjoy it (without peeing himself)!
I love how you’re all dressed in red, white, and blue. You’ve got too much time on your hands to be able to coordinate outfits.
Wow!
Happy Independence Day!
awwwwww, how cute are your kids!!!!
And that Tazzie Devil lives at my house while you are asleep.
Happy Fourth! You guys look so cute, and that sounds like fun. Except the being up at 3:00 part. I have been doing that too, and it’s not fun. 😉
This was the first 4th in 7 years I have seen fireworks.
My 4 year old was finally brave enough to attend. From afar….that is.
Bean is not a fan of fireworks either, but storms so not bother him. So weird he is.
