Tootsie Farklepants at Vintage Thirty tagged me with this meme a while back. I had been keeping it in my draft for a rainy day. Not exactly rainy, but since I had family visiting this weekend, this has come in quite handy for ensuring I continue my daily posting for Downs Awareness.
Four things you should know about me before you invite me to your house.
- I will eat just about anything that you put out, and a LOT of it, even though I often eat at home beforehand just in case everything you put out is full of beans.
- I love me some wine (as if you couldn’t figure that out). And due to my incredibly frugal nature (and empty wallet) I’m not terribly picky. All of this cheap wine will amount to an extremely chatty guest (me).
- I enjoy seeing how other people decorate their homes. I am completely clueless in this area, so don’t be surprised if you see me just staring at your walls and fabrics and decorations, mouth gaping open. Although if you scale back the wine a bit, it might keep the drooling at bay.
- You will know if I’m enjoying the music you have playing in the background because I will be singing and/or dancing. No wine needed.
Now I get to tag four people:
Cara at Caramama
Flea at Flea’s World
Nicole at Fishsticks and Fireflies
Colleen at Mommy Always Wins

hehe. You said “put out”. Heh. Hi, I’ll be twelve all day.
I’m sorry. You must have been so disappointed at my lack of decorating style. Wait, I don’t have a style. I decorate in Early Childhood Years. While popular, it’s never been accused of either beauty or brilliance.
Come on over any time! I like to feed people and ply them with wine (it’s my Italian nature). I’ve got decor and music, too!
Hi! I’m here! Really! I changed my template and am still finding my bloggy friends (lost the blogroll in the move and rebuilding). I’ll do this tag on …. Wednesday!
You are welcome to my house anytime!
We have LOTS of great wine, great food thanks to Hubby, and you’d have to share the ‘stage’ with me and my girls – but come on down!
I’m sooo with you on #3!
Trader Joe’s ‘Two-Buck Chuck’ rocks! Of course it should be renamed to ‘Three-Buck Chuck’ now, but still not bad for a cheap bottle of wine. Sometimes I wonder if our prayer group gets together as an excuse to have wine, not a bad thing mind you. God loves us even when we’ve had a few. ๐
Our house is currently designed in early-modern construction. I can’t wait to share those pictures!!
Uh, gee, Colleen… You sound kinda like a stick in the mud. Loosen up a little, will ya? Now I’m worried about you! ๐ HAHAHAHA
